Memorial graveside services for Wilma Jean Bohannon, 83, of Guymon, Oklahoma, formerly of Bonham, will be held at 3:00 p. m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 in Willow Wild Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Cindy Baker Burnett will officiate. Jean passed away at Dunaway Manor, Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 following a brief illness.
Jean was born Feb. 23, 1928 in Bonham, Texas, daughter of the late Clarence Lee Elkins and Inez Campbell Elkins. She married James Robert "Jim" Bohannon, Aug. 8, 1947 in Bonham, and he preceded her in death, May 10, 2010.
Jean is survived by
Daughters, Susan Merworth of Murphy, TX,Jami Koehn and husband, John of Guymon, OK,
Son, David Bohannon of Bonham, TX,
Grandchildren, Patti Ijames, Ellis Merworth, Jr., Rebecca Merworth, Alex Koehn, Erin Koehn, Drew Bohannon, Matthew Bohannon and Colleen Bohannon,
Great Grandchildren, Jeffrey Merworth, Jason Merworth, Matthew Merworth, Rachel Ijames and Jessica Ijames.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, 4144 N. Central Expressway, #750, Dallas, TX 75204-3208.
