Willie Norman

Military graveside services for Mr. Willie Norman, age 83, of The Colony, will be held at 10:15 AM Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home in Bonham.  A family viewing will be held from 1-3 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the Wise Funeral Home stateroom, 219 W. Sam Rayburn Dr. Bonham, Texas.  Mr. Norman passed away on March 13, 2020 at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Nursing Home in Bonham, Texas.

Mr. Norman was born on July 5, 1936 in Glen Flora, Texas, the son of Louis Norman and Madoline Burks Norman.  He graduated from the T.L. Pinkston High School and was a member of the New Birth Baptist Church in Dallas, where he was a member of the Men's Chorus.  He was a United States Army Veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his son, Willie Norman, Jr and daughter Shelia Norman of The Colony.
