Graveside services for Mrs. Willie Mae Mize, age 82, of Ivanhoe, will be held at 6:30 P.M., Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the New Hope Cemetery in Ivanhoe, Texas under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Mrs. Mize passed away on August 12, 2015 at her residence. The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. prior to graveside and at Mrs. Mize's residence after the graveside.

Willie Mae was born on February 21, 1933 in Warren, Arkansas, the daughter of William Neal Hewitt and Willie McFerrin Hewitt. She was a Grayson County College graduate and worked as a Registered Nurse for the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center for over 25 years. She married Billie Gray Mize on May 30, 1959 and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2009. She enjoyed fishing, camping and reading. She was preceded in death by sons, Jack and Wendall Wayne and daughter Kathryn Nolen.

Surviving are:
Son: Billy Mize Jr. of Ivanhoe
Daughters: Rhonda Reeves and husband Tim of Ivanhoe
Melody Harrison and husband Rodney of Bonham
Nephew: Charles McDaniel
23 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
Extended family and a host of friends

Pallbearers will be Timmy Harrison, Clayton Harrison, Billy Mize III, Kerry Nolen and Chris Reeves, Dustin Russell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackie Mize, Bryan Mize, Zak Reese, Reece Duke, Ricky Bobbitt, DavidDaniel Roskowske, Charles McDaniel, William Steele, and Luke Evans.
