DOWE MALONE, JR.

Funeral services for Willie Dowe Malone, Jr., 79, of Ravenna, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Seigler will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM Tuesday in Rowlett Cemetery. Dowe passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 22, 2010 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham.

Dowe was born September 25, 1931 in Prosper (Collin County), Texas, the son of Willie Dowe Malone, Sr. and Wanda Bellows Malone. He was a graduate of Prosper High School and attended college. He was a US Air Force veteran. Dowe married Nancy J. Bass, Feb. 2, 1959 in McKinney, Texas. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Dowe was a retired machinist for LTV and Washington Ironworks. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Niece, Deborah Madarash (Mark) of Red Oak and her son, Bryce Watson

Grandsons and nephews will be pallbearers.
