Funeral Services for Willie James Briggs, 72 of Bonham will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 16, 2015 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Steve Luton will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Marks Cemetery in Dodd City, Texas. Willie passed away on early morning on November 8, 2015 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Willie was born on 10/18/1943, the son of Spencer Briggs and Lela Harris Briggs. He was a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Bonham. Willie is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Evelyn Briggs, and siblings, Ethel Mae Austin, Lela Mae McFail, Ann Briggs, Gracie Mae Thomas, Doline Shelton, John Briggs, Tom Briggs, and Henry Briggs.
Willie leaves to mourn his passing his five children, Campy Briggs, Kenny Briggs, Kevin Briggs, Tracey BeLeon, and Annie (Cissy) Bizzell, nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Willie's family and friends.
