Graveside services with military honors for William Wallace "Bill" Snyder, 87, of Bonham, formerly of Cooper, TX, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 in Dallas Fort Worth National
Cemetery, Dallas, TX under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Thomas Snyder and Susan McCoy will officiate. Bill passed away Tuesday morning, Feb. 1, 2011 at Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham.
Bill was born June 1, 1923 in Sheridan, Wyoming, son of Perry A. Snyder and Winifred Wallace Snyder. He was a graduate of Southern Methodist University and a Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. Bill married Lois Williams, Sept. 5, 1945 and she preceded him in death in 1981. Bill was a member of Ciff Temple Baptist Church in Dallas and the American Legion. He enjoyed sports and track & field. Bill was a retired manager for Goodyear.
He is survived by ~
Daughter, Susan McCoy (Rodney) of Cooper, TX;
Son, Thomas William Snyder (Linda) of Corinth, TX;
Brother, John P. Snyder (Grace) of Madison, Wisconsin;
3 Grandchildren, Christy McCoy, Michael McCoy and Jame Snyder
