William Newton Fangio

William (Bill) Newton Fangio, age 87, of Bonham, Texas, passed on to our heavenly Father Monday afternoon, November 8, 2021, at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center of McKinney, Texas. Cremation Arrangements for Bill  are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Nov 27, 2021 at the Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas. Interment will be held privately at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, Texas.

Bill was born on October 4, 1934, in Paris, Texas, the son of Alfonzo N. Fangio and Jennie Bell Spikes Fangio. He married Judy Ann Melson in 1954 in Arlington, Texas. They were married 67 years prior to her passing on September 28, 2021. Bill earned his bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Arlington State. He had an extensive career in engineering and electronics. Bill began his own business, Celtech Corporation, in North Texas in 1984 and later moved it to New Mexico.  He began another business, Dalnor Systems, at the time of the sale of Celtech in 2007. His family is still running it today. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was an avid student of the Bible. He enjoyed mathematics, flying, and played tennis into his 70's. Bill was dedicated to his family, and to helping those with whom he came in contact. Bill will be greatly missed by all he has touched. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Judy, son William Stephen Fangio, daughter Ann Carol Fangio; and grandson, Brian Adamo.

Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory  his son William Mark Fangio and wife Lorie C. Fangio of McKinney, Texas; daughter Jeanna Suzanne Adamo and husband Mark Adamo of Bonham, Texas; brother Charles A Foster III and wife Cheryl Foster of Allen, Texas; sisters Betty Lou Davis of Garland, Texas, and Jennie Gail Connor and husband John of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
