Wiley Donald Sagely

Wiley "Donald" Sagely passed away peacefully the day after Christmas.

He was known as Donnie all of his life. Born on July 19, 1947 to Octavis and Jessie Sagely in Bonham, TX. Donnie went to work for the City of Bonham in April of 1991 and faithfully worked in the street department until his retirement in May of 2014. Donnie was a friend to all he met. In his free time he enjoyed cleaning up the yard and spending time with his beloved wife Lana. He will be fondly remembered for his kindness and sweet spirit.

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lana Sagely, aunt by marriage Edith Fuller and her husband Alvin, along with many friends.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 2, 2023 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel at 1pm. Visitation will be 1hr prior to the start of service and burial will follow at Leonard Cemetery, Leonard, TX.
