Wayland A. "W.A. Huff

Graveside services for Wayland Albertus "W.A." Huff, 80, of Dodd City, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 1, 2014 in Owens Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Lee will officiate. W. A. passed away early Thursday morning, May 29, 2014 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham.
W. A. was born Aug. 15, 1933 in Nocona, Texas, the son of Jessie Albertus Huff and Emma Lou Hatfield Huff. He was a U. S. Army veteran. W. A. married Peggy Jo Pearson on Dec. 24, 1957 in Bonham, Texas and she preceded him in death May 8, 2013. He was a blade operator with A. K. Gillis and D. L. Lennon Construction Companies. W. A. enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, David Dewayne "Buck" Huff and Jerry Ray Huff.
W. A. is survived by a daughter, Deborah Jo Huff of Dodd City, Texas; seven grandchildren, Jaime Naylor, Kirsten Brian, Miranda Embree, Mallory Huff, Jessica Huff, Jared Huff and Joe David Huff; and nine great grandchildren, Hunter Vaught, Stormey and Cason Carson, Caleb and Colton Brian, DavidDaniel Roskowski, Aisley and Lochlan Embree and Luca Ryan Petrozzi.
