Funeral services for Wanda Lou Taylor, 76, of Bonham, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Ralph Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in Dodd City Cemetery. Wanda passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Wanda was born December 19, 1936 in Kingston, Oklahoma, the daughter of Alfred Walker and Gay VanKirk Walker. She was a graduate of Gober High School. Wanda married Jimmy Ray Taylor on March 2, 1956 in Bonham, Texas. She was a member of Fannin Bible Baptist Church. Wanda loved spending time with her family, gardening and working in her flowerbeds. She also enjoyed making angels and crafting. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bobby Walker.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Jimmy Taylor of Bonham, Texas,
sons, Anthony Taylor and wife, Susan of Bonham, Texas and Robert Taylor and wife Sharon of Sherman, Texas, grandchildren, Christopher Taylor and Chantelle of Portallice, New Mexico, Ben Taylor and Jammie and Gregory Taylor, all of Bonham, Texas, Melody Avila and Jaun of Sherman; and adopted granddaughter, Katlin Barber of Ector, Texas,great grandchildren, Krissy and Brandon Taylor of Bonham, Texas, Ian Avila of Sherman, Texas, and Sarah and Dakota Taylor of New Mexico.
Pallbearers will be Andy Taylor, Robert Taylor, Chris Taylor, Ben Taylor, Greg Taylor and Melody Avila.
