Wanda Ruth Neal

Funeral service for Mrs. Wanda Ruth Neal, age 74, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August, 15, 2015 at the Wise Funeral Home in Bonham. Rev. Ed Neal and Rev. Normous Free will officiate. Burial will follow in the Arledge Ridge Cemetery. Wanda passed away on August 12, 2015 at the Texoma Medical Center in Bonham.
Wanda was born on February 7, 1941 in Heath, Texas (Rockwall County) the daughter of J.C. Carr and Virgie Ellen Battenfield Carr. She was a graduate of Rockwall High School and married Kenneth Wayne Neal on September 7, 1958. Wanda was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church in Bonham. She was a homemaker and most recently worked in advertising for The Warrior (KFYN) Radio Station in Bonham. Wanda enjoyed reading and watching the Texas Rangers. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and James Kenneth Carr and one sister, Betty Cook.

Grandchildren: Ryan and Stephanie Thornton, Biff and Julie Thornton, Heather and Justin Lawson, Blake Deweese, David and Stephanie Cabrera, Krystal and Timothy Leathers, Daniel and Taryn Cabrera and great grandchildren: Connor Franklin, Bailey Thornton, Garrett Thornton, Hayden Thornton, Coyt Gray Lawson, Kohen Lawson, Coleson Lawson, Antonio Cabrera, Emma Cabrera, Ian Leathers and Julian Cabrera.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of friends
