Memorial services for Wade Martin Keene, 85, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Mar. 25, 2014 at Telephone Baptist Church under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Brian Everett will officiate. There will be a private committal at Duplex Cemetery. Wade passed away at his residence early Saturday morning, Mar. 22, 2014.
Wade was born March 27, 1928 in Fannin County, Texas, the son of Martin Lee Keene and Dora Darnall Keene. He married Gladys Long on March 17, 1951 in Durant, Oklahoma, and she preceded him in death July 3, 2012. He was a farmer and rancher and thoroughly enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. A quiet, gentle man, Wade loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with a passion. He was a member of Duplex Baptist Church. Wade was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Arthur Keene and Robert Keene.

sister-in-law, Johnnie Naylor of Telephone, Texas;
grandchildren, Missy Brent and husband, Rodney, Teresa Mills and husband, Gary, Jason Caylor and wife, Leah, Kristy Agerlid and husband, Michael, Kelly Wilson, Haley Peppers and husband, Michael and Brittany Page and fiancé, Jace Outlaw;
13 great grandchildren;
numerous nieces and nephews, friends and extended family; and
