Cremation Arrangements for Vida Rhea Tadlock, age 94, of Sherman, Texas is under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Vida passed away Saturday evening, November 6, 2021, at Whitesboro Health and Rehab in Whitesboro, Texas.

Vida was born March 1, 1927, in Fannin County, Texas, the daughter of William Carroll Moody and Melissa Lillian Bowers Moody. She married Fred Lee Rogers on June 19, 1948. They were married for over 30 years prior to his passing. Together they had one daughter, Sheila Rene Rogers Brown. Vida also gave birth to three baby boys who were stillborn: William Lee Rogers and Freddie Carroll Rogers, twins, and Gregory Scott Rogers. After Fred's passing, Vida married Edward (Ed) Lee Tadlock. She lived in Bonham, Texas for most of her adult life. Vida waws a hard worker, all of her life, retiring from Bonham Manufacturing in her 70's. Vida moved in with her daughter and son-in-law in Sherman, Texas and lived with them for the last fifteen years. Her greatest passion was watching things grow. She would check on her flowers every day, counting their buds, waiting in anticipation for the beautiful blooms to emerge. Her hardworking nature had her picking weeds by hand in the landscaping, tidying up, making the perfect environment for her flowers to grow. Vida was very spirited and enjoyed the company of her four-legged friends. She will be greatly missed.  Vida is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred, and husband, Ed; 3 infant sons; brothers, Joe Bob Moody, James Moody, Johnny Moody, Bill Moody, George Moody, and Jack Bowers; and sisters, Hattie Mae Moore and Florene Woods.

Vida leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Sheila Brown and husband Dave of Sherman, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
