Velma Lee Mcdaniel

Funeral services for Velma Lee McDaniel, 82, of Bonham, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Ralph Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in Verona Cemetery near Blue Ridge, Texas. Velma passed away early Monday, June 6, 2016 at Seven Oaks Nursing & Rehab in Bonham.

Velma was born September 1, 1933 in Blue Ridge, Texas, the daughter of Edward Everest Henry and Beulah Conger Johnson Henry. She attended schools in Verona and Blue Ridge. Velma was a member of Fannin Bible Baptist Church. She worked for Henson-Kickernick (a lingerie company) in Greenville, Texas for 25 years, Sarah Lee for 3 years, and later for Finley-Oates Elementary cafeteria in Bonham for 10 years. Velma enjoyed reading, dancing and going. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Edward Everest Henry, Jr., sister, Marie Gerner, and sons, Tommie Lynn Justice and Jerry Lee Justice.

Edith Lile Fuller (Clarence Alvin) of Bonham, Texas
Grandson, Gregory Melton (Courtney) of Caddo Mills, Texas
Great Grandchildren, Braydon Melton, Madyson Melton, Christopher Spencer and Lynzie Spencer.
Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home Chapel from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Wednesday prior to service time.
