Valerie Kay (Bailey) Easley

Valerie was born August 10, 1961 in Sherman, Texas to Leonard F. Bailey and Aurline Rougeou Bailey. Valerie passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Justin Bailey. She is survived by her husband John Norris of Mulberry, his daughters Kim Snyder and Lori Norris, 3 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren, her sister Lynn Ann Edwards and husband Mark, her nephew and niece Connor and Bailey Pollack of Florida and numerous Aunts & Uncles.

Valerie was employed by Oncor Electric in McKinney, Texas. She loved being in the country and loved being outside working in the yard. She was very active in the community with fundraising. She was a volunteer for The United Way thru Oncor and helped with many of their fundraising activities and golf tournaments. She was also an active volunteer for The Bonham Out of the Darkness walks and The Fannin County Relay for Life. She also volunteered for the American Heart Association Heart Walk each year.

Valerie was the oldest of 17 1st cousins and a multitude of 2nd and 3rd cousins, and was admired by all. She graduated from Bonham High School in 1979. Valerie had a very outgoing personality and loved having fun and being silly. She loved her family and will be dearly missed.

Valerie's family will be receiving friends at the Wise Funeral Home in Bonham from 6pm to 8pm, Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Graveside Services will be held at 10am, Thursday November 16 at The Mulberry Cemetery.
