A cremation was held for Tony Wade Vinson, 63, of Ector, who passed away Friday afternoon, Oct. 7, 2016 at his residence. Wise Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Per Tony's request, there will be no services.
Tony was born Aug. 14, 1953 in Sherman, Texas, the son of James Smith Vinson and Lila Nell Lumpkins Vinson. He was a 1971 graduate of Bonham High school and received his Bachelors degree from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. Tony was an employee of Fannin County Electric CoOp for over 28 years. He was a member of the Bonham Jaycees and the Ashley Masonic Lodge in Bailey and a longtime member of the Bonham Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Tony is survived by his brother, Timmy Vinson of Ector, Texas; numerous cousins; 1 uncle; and a host of friends.
