“A life well lived is a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that never fade.”

Tony Angel Milner, 58, of Savoy, passed away leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, hard work, and memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Tony was a mechanic, a tire man, and a man who could fix just about anything. If something was broken, Tony would find a way to make it work. He took pride in everything he did and was never afraid of hard work. Even after suffering a massive stroke, Tony continued to demonstrate the strength and determination that defined him throughout his life.

Tony lived life on his own terms and found joy in the simple things. He loved working on vehicles, collecting coins, taking spontaneous road trips, boating, camping, and going to the ocean. He enjoyed mowing with the help of his grandson, Colt, and loved gathering with family and friends for cookouts and grilling steaks.

He had a special love for Texas Roadhouse, his favorite restaurant, and he never minded trying his luck at the casino. Tony hated losing, but that certainly didn't stop him from going whenever he felt lucky. He also enjoyed scratching lottery tickets, always hoping that the next one would be the big winner.

But Tony's greatest treasures were never things—they were people.

His greatest contributions are the ones he leaves behind to carry on his legacy: his daughters, Mandy Leftwich and husband Joshua of Bonham, Texas; Angel Esquivel and husband Rudy of Bonham, Texas; Toni Milner and husband James Titsworth of Ravenna, Texas; and wife, Sherry Milner of Bonham, Texas.

His daughters were his reason for breathing, and the love he had for them was beyond measure.

Tony leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Madison Lehew of Denison, Texas; Maison Milner, Colt Milner, Jaxon Leftwich, Jadith Esquivel, Zander Esquivel, Azlyn Esquivel, and Lorenzo Esquivel, all of Bonham, Texas. He was an amazing Paw-Paw and his grandchildren brought him tremendous joy. The memories they made together will be cherished for generations to come.

He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Patrick Havard of Huntington, along with nieces Shantelle Hamilton, Ashley Robinson, and Doris Sears; great-nephews Braxton Eaves and Carson Hamilton; and great-nieces Braylyn Hamilton and Halle Eaves, all of Huntington.

Tony also leaves behind beloved cousins and extended family, including Millie and Ray Coleman and their children, Jerrod Vineyard, Jordan Freeman, Courtney Murphy, and Casie Rochelle, all of Huntington; Sandra Tucker and husband Jeff of Savoy, Texas; Cassi Bergland of Blue Ridge, Texas; Lucy and her son Bryance Tucker of Savoy, Texas; and Nina Milner of San Antonio, Texas, along with her sons Donny, Cody, and Robby Batts, all of the North Texas area.

He was blessed with friendships that became like family and leaves behind close friends Randy, Alice, Brad, and Jared “Lil Dawg” Gibson of Colbert, Oklahoma, and Doug and Tina Teel of Savoy, Texas, along with countless other friends whose lives he touched throughout the years.

Tony was a man who showed up. If someone needed him, he was there. He was loyal, dependable, reliable, honest, hardworking, and respected by many. He never met a stranger and had a way of making people feel welcome. He helped people without hesitation and gave freely of his time and talents.

Tony also had a gift for laughter. He could make you laugh even when you didn't want to smile. His humor, stubborn determination, generosity, and one-of-a-kind personality made the world a brighter place.

Tony was preceded in death by his sister, Elvira Denise King; grandmother, Linda Almena Bonner; parents, Cecilia Ann Remmer and Doris Freeman King; and nephew, James “Junior Boy” Robinson.

Though Tony's passing leaves an emptiness that can never be filled, his legacy will continue through the family he loved so deeply, the friends who stood beside him, and the countless people whose lives he made better simply by being there.

His greatest legacy is not the vehicles he repaired, the things he fixed, or the work he completed. It is the love he gave, the lives he touched, the laughter he created, and the family he leaves behind to carry his legacy forward.

Tony took pride in everything he did. He worked hard. He loved fiercely. He helped others. He made people laugh. He never met a stranger.

And he made the world a brighter place.

He will be deeply missed, but he will never be forgotten.

Your hands may no longer turn the wrenches, your wheels may no longer carry you down the road,

but the road you traveled through life, left footprints in the hearts of everyone who knew you.

Your laughter will echo in our memories, your kindness will live through those you helped, and your love will continue through your children and grandchildren.

You may have left this world, but your legacy remains.
