Tommy Harrison

Graveside services for Mr. Thomas Gene "Tommy" Harrison, age 75, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Elwood Cemetery, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Rickey Robbins and Rev. Claude Robbins will officiate. Tommy passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at his residence in Bonham.

Tommy was born on July 12, 1938 in Telephone, Texas, the son of Villard Harrison and Katherine Baker Harrison. Tommy graduated from North Fannin High School in 1955 and married Wanda Lene Jewell on October 19, 1979. He was a member of the Dodd City and Bonham Lions Clubs and was baptized at Elwood Baptist Church. Tommy was owner and operator of Tommy's Service Station. He helped many customers and friends in need and loved spending time with kids. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Steve Hamilton.

Daughter and son-in-law: Deneen Freeman and husband, Allen, of Hope Mills, North Carolina

Daughter-in-law: Patricia Cox and husband, Press of Bonham

Brother and sister-in-law: Rodney and Melody Harrison of Bonham

Sister and Brother-in-law: Kathy Kelso and David of Kingwood,TX

Sister: Helen Meador of Lindale, TX

11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, extended family and a host of friends

Pallbearers will be Claude Wix, Raymond Lappin, Iva Thompson, Jerry Panell, and Roy Reed.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013.
