Thomas Lee Clark Calame Robinson

Funeral services for Thomas Lee Clark Calame Robinson, 18, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at the Bois d'Arc Creek Cowboy Church under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. Kevin Lane will officiate. Thomas, at 6'8" tall and 367 pounds, was a mountain of a man and so strong. He was a gentle giant with a calm nature, and generous heart. Thomas was involved in a tragic car crash with his dear friend Jesse Runyan early Saturday morning on Hwy 78 North. He fought so hard and lived for forty hours after the crash occurred and passed away at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas on Sunday at 7:05pm. Thomas was born April 28, 1994 in Sherman, Texas, the son of Tamberly Kay Groves and Martin Douglas Calame. He was a very proud 2012 graduate of Bonham High School and was very popular and very much loved by his peers. Thomas was a full time employee as a jailer for Fannin County Sheriff's Department, where he planned for a career in law enforcement, to follow in his father's footsteps, who was a police officer for 30 years. Thomas loved spending time with his friends and family, riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers, playing football and participating in FFA. He loved his Camaro and spent countless hours keeping it in pristine condition, but most of all he loved his family. He attended the Bois d'Arc Creek Cowboy Church. Thomas is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Lee Groves, an aunt, Teresa Hammons and great uncle, Marvin Watley.

Pallbearers will be Austin Cox, Dylan Cardile, Dakota Taylor, Skylar Dooley, Casey Sizemore, Tanner Spencer, Brandon Tigert, Cole Chaney and Jack Newman. Honorary Pallbearers will be the 2012 Graduating Class of Bonham High School.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday night. Thomas' family and friends will be having a fellowship meal at the church after the service on Saturday and prepared dishes may be taken to the church or the family home.
