Susie Patillo

Marian Sue "Susie" Richard Patillo was born May 7, 1948 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Joseph Francis Richard and Betty Jean Ewton Richard.  She was the oldest of twelve children.  Susie was a graduate of Adams High School and received her RN degree from El Centro College in 1978.  She was a pediatric nurse for many years.  Susie married the love of her life, Eugene Patillo on October 3, 1968.  She was a Catholic and enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers, cruises and camping.    However, her greatest joy, was spending time with her family.  Susie passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Betty Richard and grandparents, Floyd and Madeline Ewton.

Susie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 54 years, Eugene Patillo of Savoy, Texas, son, James Patillo (Angela) of McKinney, Texas, daughters, Brandy Nicol (Blair) of Spring, Texas, and Betsy Scroggins (Richard) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, seven brothers, Joe Richard, Mike Richard (Teri), Charles Richard (Charlene), Eddy Richard, Patrick Richard, John Richard (Sharon) and James Richard (Monica), four sisters, twins, Marilyn Richard and Madeline Willingham, and Teresa Stone (Mike) and Jeanne Terry (Steve), nine grandchildren, Brittany, Justin, James, Heather, Colton, Trevor, Carter, Ricky and Spencer, five great grandchildren, Autumn, Bailey Rose, Addy, Charlotte and Jameson, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
