Graveside services for Susan Ann Pittman Ashmore, 62, of Fort Worth will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bugtussle, TX under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX. Robert Milton will officiate. Susan passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 at her residence.
Susan was born Nov. 10, 1949 in Montague County, Texas, the daughter of Walter Pittman and Ethel Emfinger Pittman. She was a graduate of Fannindel High School in Ladonia, TX and attended East Texas State University in Commerce, TX. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Church of Christ. Susan was preceded in death by her son, James Leigh Ashmore, Nov. 10, 1979, her parents, two brothers, Jessie H. Pttman and Erby Pittman, and three sisters, Hazel Hicks, Francis Fields and Mary Lambert.
Susan is survived by two brothers, James Pittman and Joe Pittman, both of East, TX, four sisters, Betty Myers of Tyler, TX, Marlene Juanita Wahitten of East, TX, Martha Crowell, and
Dorothy Langley of Ben Wheeler, TX, sister-in-law, Charlotte Pittman of Fort Worth, TX, nieces, Buffie Pittman and Paula Pittman, and nephew, Chad Pittman
and several nieces and nephews.
