Stephanie Ann
Watson
Jan 27, 1986 — Oct 29, 2026
McKinney, TX
Stephanie Ann Watson, known lovingly to family and friends as Steph, passed away on October 29, 2026, in McKinney, Texas, at the age of 40.
Stephanie was born on January 27, 1986, in Johnson City, New York, where she began a life that would be marked by warmth, devotion, and a deep love for the people and comforts that made her feel most at home. She carried with her throughout her life a strong willed spirit, a determined heart, and a steady faith that guided her through both ordinary days and life’s most meaningful moments. Those who knew Stephanie will remember her as a woman who was tenderhearted yet, someone whose kindness was matched by her resilience and whose presence brought comfort to others.
Above all else, Stephanie was devoted to her family. She was a loving mother to Savannah and Noah, and her children were the center of her world. Her family could always count on her to be present, to listen, and to care deeply. She was also a devoted wife to Mark Watson, whom she married on September 16, 2017. Their marriage was built on love, companionship, and shared life experiences that brought joy and meaning to their years together.
Stephanie found happiness in the simple and familiar things that made a house feel like home. She was a true homebody who loved her couch, her favorite shows, and the peaceful comfort of being surrounded by the things and people she loved most. She appreciated the quiet moments as much as the busy ones, and she knew how to create a sense of warmth wherever she was. Her home was a place of love, laughter, and rest, and she made it that way through her care and devotion.
She also had a special place in her heart for her dogs, Stewart and Bart, who were beloved companions and constant sources of joy. Steph adored them and cherished the comfort, laughter, and unconditional affection they brought into her life. Her love for animals reflected the depth of her caring nature and the tenderness that came so naturally to her.
Stephanie valued health and activity, and she loved working out as part of her daily life. Her commitment to staying active reflected her discipline and her desire to care for herself and those who depended on her. Whether through exercise, family life, or the routines that shaped her days, she approached life with strength and purpose. She was the kind of person who kept going, even when life was difficult, and she did so with grace and courage.
Her faith was an important part of who she was. Stephanie was a woman of faith who trusted Jesus throughout her life and drew strength from her beliefs. Her spiritual life was a source of comfort and guidance, and it shaped the way she loved others and faced the world. It was her faith that allowed her to face her tumor diagnosis 7 years ago and fight it daily.
Stephanie is preceded in death by her father Bob Klimchuck. She is survived by husband, Mark Watson, children, Savannah and Noah Ditonto, and special friend and caregiver Alyssa Barber.
