Stanley Wayne Bailey

A private Family Gathering was held for Stanley Wayne Bailey, age 72, of Bonham, Texas. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Stanley passed away Wednesday morning, November 23, 2022, at his residence in Bonham, Texas.

Stanley was born May 7, 1950, in Rockwood, Tennessee, the son of Joseph C. Bailey Jr. and Hesta Lena McCollum Bailey. He grew up in Rockwood, Tennessee. His family moved to New York where he graduated from high school. Stanley attended college in Rockwood, Tennessee. Stanley joined the Marines after high school. He and Barbara, the love of his life, were together 27 years prior to his passing. Stanley enjoyed woodworking and sightseeing. He liked trains. He loved spending time with his grandkids and even shared a knife and sword collecting hobby with his grandson, Trevor. Stanley was of the Baptist faith. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bailey of Bonham, Texas; daughter, Shelly Coulter and husband Tony of Celina, Texas; brother, Bennett Bailey and wife Eliase of Crossville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kayla Ishmael, Trevor Coulter, Abigail Coulter, Will Coulter, and Clint Coulter and wife Brittany; great grandchildren, Thomas Miller, Sage Coulter, and one on the way; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
