Graveside services for Shirley Juanita Sudderth, 89, of Grand Prairie, former longtime resident of Fort Worth, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 in Willow Wild Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Lyn Holly will officiate. Shirley passed away early Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2010 at Arlington Memorial Hospital.
Shirley was born in Forest, Mississippi, the daughter of Charles O. Smith and Cora Lee Putman Smith. She married Glenn Sudderth (former Gober and Fannin Co. resident), Sept. 11, 1947, and he preceded her in death, Sept. 29, 1986. Shirley was a loving daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved to sew and garden and made many quilts. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Billy Glen Waits and a sister, Charlene Cannon.
