Shirley Lynn Reeves

Shirley Lynn Reeves passed away at her home with her family by her side on May 12, 2025.

She was born on September 9, 1947, in Whittier, California, but spent most of her life in the Dallas area. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Shirley dedicated her life to caring for those she loved. Her greatest joy in life was her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Harold Reeves; her daughter, Christy Lasseigne, and son-in-law, Troy Lasseigne; and her treasured grandchildren, Taylor, Sydnee, and Derril Lasseigne. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Lenora Barber, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She poured her heart into caring for them with unwavering devotion, kindness and generosity. Her memory will be carried on through the lives she touched and the love she shared. Shirley was always present, always giving, and always loving.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A funeral service in honor of Shirley's life will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11am at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Dan Aleman will be officiating the service. The visitation will be the night before from 6pm to 8pm at Wise Funeral Home.
