A memorial gathering will be held at Wise Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 for Sherry Kay Shelby, 48, of Bonham. Sherry passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011 in Granbury, TX.

Sherry was born April 8, 1963 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of David McBride and Laura Powell McBride. Sherry attended schools in Canton and Bonham, TX. She married Don Shelby on July 18, 1980 in Bonham, Texas. She worked as a CNA in area nursing homes for a number of years. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
