Sharon Maxine Newton Dearing, 63, of Garland, Texas passed away early Friday morning, May 20, 2016 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Garland. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, Texas.

Sharon was born December 5, 1952 in Bonham, Texas, the daughter of Max Leslie Newton and Lilly Mae Sinor Newton. She was a graduate of Bonham High School. Sharon married Edward Calvin "Ed" Dearing on July 1, 1994 in Daingerfield, Texas. She worked for the County Clerk's office and in oil and gas research. Sharon loved owls and working puzzles, playing canasta, bowling and dancing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon is survived by her Husband, Ed Dearing of Garland, Texas; two
Daughters, Lisa Steward (Jimmy Robinson) of Wylie, Texas and
Carol Lynn Gervais of Fort Collins, Colorado; two Sons, Steven Dearing (Cheyenne) of Greeley, Colorado and Robert Dearing of Florida;
Brother, Samuel Leslie Newton of Bonham, Texas; Sister, Sandra "Sandy" Hall (Kinneth) of Garland, Texas; Grandchildren, Hailey Gilley, Tremaine Howard, Madison Gervais, Kirsten Dearing, Tearony Howard, Emily Gervais, T'myra Steward, Tristan Steward, Karen Dearing, Cache Dearing, and Cherokee Skye Dearing; three Great Grandchildren, Paislee Rivers, Cooper Gilley and Kemyra Woodard; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
