Samuel Earl Holt

Funeral services for Samuel Earl Holt, 80, of Fort Worth, formerly of Fannin County, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Bro Kelly Montgomery will officiate. Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery in Ector, TX. Earl passed away early Monday, July 2, 2012 at Weatherford Regional Medical Center.
Earl was born Feb. 4, 1932 in Henrietta, OK, the son of Timothy L. Holt and Vitilda Roscoe Holt.
He was a US Army veteran and a Mason. He was a Scottish Rite Volunteer. Earl married Ada Earlene Boss in 1969 in Dallas, TX and she preceded him in death Feb. 22, 2006. He later married Ellen Darlene Green. Earl was a retired brick mason with E&E Masonry of Dallas, TX and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Steven Holt and a brother, Clarence Leon Holt.

Clifford Holt of Tyler, TX,
Stepdaughters, Ricki Holt and Lacretia Pollard, both of Fort Worth, TX, Brother, James Holt of Whitewright, TX, Sisters, Inez Ishmael of Eastland, TX, and Cecil Wideman of Tyler, TX
4 grandchildren, David, Geneva, Derrick and Savannah
Numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Green, Jerry Green, Juan Green and Jason Wilson.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
