Funeral services for Russell Arthur Witte, 59, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, Jan. 17, 2011 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Raymond England and Bro. Russell McDonald will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Carson Cemetery in Ector. Russ passed away early Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Homestead of Denison.
Russ was born March 10, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Alex Witte and Dorothy Anna Grote Witte. He graduated from High School in Muskego, Wisconsin. Russ married Theresa Lynn "Terri" Morrison, Feb. 27, 1981 in Sanger, TX. He was a US Navy veteran and enjoyed golfing and fishing. A very talented singer and musician, Russ was the minister of The Place Family Worship Center in Bonham. Prior to going into the ministry, he worked for 6 years with AT&T and was a member of the Trinity Lighthouse Church in Denison. He was a volunteer at the Fannin Pregnancy Center in Bonham. Russ was preceded in death by his parents.

Daughter: Kristin Klockgether (Lance) of Windom
Sister: Linda Dahlstrom of Kenosha, Wisconsin
Grandchildren: Preston, Logan and Carson Klockgether of Windom
