Runell Donohoe Mosley

Funeral services for Runell Donohoe Mosley, 86, of Ivanhoe, Texas, will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at Duplex Baptist Church under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.  Rev. Jeff Johnson will officiate. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time Saturday  at Duplex Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Duplex Cemetery.  Runell passed away Tuesday morning, Dec. 14, 2021 at Iris Memory Care of Rowlett.

Runell was born July 6, 1935 in Madill, Oklahoma, the daughter of Carson Sylvester Donohoe and Willie Mae Cauthen Donohoe.  She was a graduate of North Fannin High School in Ivanhoe, Texas.  Runell married the love of her life, Jack Ardell Mosley on Sept. 11, 1953 in Bonham, Texas, and he preceded her in death Feb. 10, 1990.  She was Secretary of Treasury for ITS Computing in Dallas, TX for over 25 years and retired in 1991.  Runell enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening and loved working with her boys in the hay fields and taking care of her cattle.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Garlin Donohoe, Ellis Donohoe and Marlin Donohoe.

Runell leaves behind to cherish her memories, two sons, Audie Jack Mosley (Karen) and Christopher Dale Mosley (Sherry), all Ivanhoe, Texas; a daughter, Vickie Nell Walker (Max) of Garland, TX; 2 brothers, Dale Donohoe of Bonham, TX and W. C. "Dub" of Winnsboro, TX; 3 sisters, Margaret Groves of Sherman, TX , Madeline Capehart of Bonham, and Lana Rencher of the Lannius Community of Fannin Co., TX; grandchildren, Tiffany Faye Walker Hauerwas (Brian) of Rowlett, TX, Jeffrey Clayton Walker (Kelly) of Celina, TX, Phillip Craig Walker (Meghan) of Rowlett, TX, Kory Lee Mosley (Killa) of Ivanhoe, TX, Aaron Scott Mosley and Dillon Jack Mosley of Ivanhoe, TX; 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Walker, Jeff Walker, Kory Mosley, Dillon Mosley, Tanner Hauerwas, Mavrick Walker, and Tyler Walker.
