Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Edna Lewis Duncan, age 90, of Ravenna, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, with Bro. Rickey Granstaff officiating. Burial will follow in the Arledge Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Duncan passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham.
Ruby was born on May 27, 1922 in the Post Oak community of Fannin County, the daughter of Theodore Valentine Chambers and Minnie Lee Morrison Chambers. She was a graduate of Bonham High School and married Charlie Howard Lewis on August 24, 1940 in Lamasco and he preceded her in death on August 2, 1966. She later married Harold Duncan who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Arthur "Charlie" Lewis on April 4, 2008 and daughter, Brenda Kay Lewis on September 25, 1999, brothers, William Chambers, Dorsey "Doc" Perry Chambers, Warren Chambers, Allan Chambers, and Theodore Valentine Chambers, Jr. and sisters, Mary Frances Chambers Phillips, and Ruth Chambers Kilgore. She was a member of Church of Christ and attended Ravenna Baptist Church. Ruby was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, gardening, canning and spending time with family.

Sister: Melba Chambers Eubanks of Ivanhoe, TX
8 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Cox, Charlie Lewis, Chance Lewis, James Eldon "Speedy" Lewis, Claude Lewis, Jr., Ross Ingram, and Bradley Ingram.
