Ross Lee Traina, 64 of Bonham passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 of natural causes. In true form, Ross passed in Illinois while on vacation with his wife Beth. The week leading up to his passing had been full of laughter, fun, and cherished family.
Ross was born in Lawton, Oklahoma to Dwight and Virginia Traina. Shortly after graduation, Ross entered the Navy where he traveled the world as a photographer. This was one of the highlights of his life, and a time in which he developed lasting friendships. Ross and Beth were married in November of 1977, he then graduated with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Parkland College in Illinois. Ross was an artist, photographer, traveler, and lover of music. He loved to be near the ocean, fishing and enjoying "good" seafood. However, Ross' greatest and favorite past time was being a Grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his four grandchildren as much as he possibly could. He was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Ray Traina, and his parents Dwight & Virginia Traina.
Ross leaves behind a legacy of love for his family, he is survived by his wife, Laura Beth Traina, his daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Brian Atchley, his grandchildren, Camryn McCarley, Kaylen Atchley, Kadyn McCarley, and Holden Atchley, as well as several other family members and friends.
Our family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support during this time.
