Ross Warren Bliss

Funeral services for Ross Warren Bliss, 47, of Telephone, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday April 4, 2014 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Lamasco Cemetery. Ross passed away Monday night, March 31, 2014 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham, Texas.

Ross was born May 12, 1966 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the son of Claire Alice Miller Bliss and Philip Warren Bliss. He attended school in Lewisville, Texas. He was a Baptist and had a special friend, "Scooby Do", the character. Ross enjoyed riding his 3-wheeler bicycle. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Luella Newhard Oplinger and step maternal grandfather, Ernest Oplinger and numerous aunts and uncles.

Ross is survived by his Mother, Claire Bliss McNellie and Derrell Tibbets, who Ross referred to as his 'special friend' of Telephone, Texas; Brother, Randolph "Randy" Bliss and wife, Kathryn of Ivanhoe, Texas; Niece, Alexandria Leigh Bliss of Ivanhoe, Texas; Maternal grandfather and step grandmother, Elvin Lloyd Miller and wife, Ruby Naylor Miller of Pasedena, California; Extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Bonham Animal Shelter, 500 Industrial St., Bonham, TX 75418.
