Funeral services for Rosie Mae Bennett, 83, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at First Baptist Church, Bonham. Rev. Ed Washington will officiate. Burial will follow in Gates Hill Cemetery. Rosie passed away early Saturday, March 19, 2011 at her residence.
Rosie was born Nov. 2, 1927 in Okmulgee, OK, the daughter of Charlie and Mary Patterson. She was a graduate of Washington High School. Rosie married Jerrell Bennett, Sr. in 1948. She was a member of St. Paul CME Church in Bonham.
