Ronnie King

Ronnie "Bull" King passed away on December 14, 2023 with his loving family by his side. Arrangements are under the care of Wise Funeral Home.

Ronnie affectionately known as "Bull" was born on October 13, 1946 in Paris, TX to parents, Leon and Martha King. Ronnie was a very strong (hence the nickname Bull) and loving man. One of his most important goals in life was to protect and to care for his family. Bull was a very loving man and he never met a stranger. You could always find a smile on his face. Bull was a simple man not much on words, and had a heart the size of Texas. He was loved by everyone that knew him. Bull loved to go hunting with his sons and grandson, especially hog hunting. He was an outdoorsman at heart and enjoyed watching and betting on the horse races. He was the best domino and poker player out there. Maybe dominos better than poker, but we wouldn't tell him that. Bull taught his boys how to skin deer, work on vehicles (with a few different words not to repeat), and most of all how to be a dad. Becoming a grandpa (Papaw) was the highlight of his life. Bull enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren and great grandson. We will forever miss our gentle giant. Bull always said God would handle it, not for anybody to worry.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty King, Bonham, TX, sons, Jeff King and wife Tracy of Ravenna, TX, Joe King and wife Katina of Bonham, TX, grandson, Timothy ( TJ ) King and wife Kayla of Ravenna, TX,  great grandson Karson King of Ravenna, TX, bonus sons (Big) Jeff Robison of Bonham, TX, Perry Peters and wife Jessica of Bells, TX, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Martha King, brothers, Benny, Frankie, Joe, and Bobby King, sister, Elizabeth Franklin, and granddaughter, Ashlynn King.

Please join the family on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm for family night at Wise Funeral Home. The graveside service will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 1:00pm at Arledge Ridge Cemetery, Bonham, TX.
