Ronnie Lee Bland

Funeral services for Ronnie Lee Bland, 58, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Moores Chapel Cemetery.  Ronnie passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at his residence.

Ronnie was born July 30, 1962 in Dimmitt, Texas, the son of Perry Lee Bland and Margaret Ann Gordon Bland.  He was a graduate of Little Elm ISD and followed this with tech training.  He enjoyed playing softball and watching college football, but his greatest love were his kids and grandkids.  Ronnie was employed as a night lumber stocker at Home Depot.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Marguet and Holden Bland.

Ronnie is survived by his son, Christopher Bland of Little Elm, TX, and daughter, Megan Green and her husband, James of Aubrey, TX; parents, Perry and Margaret Bland of Little Elm; grandchildren, Sara Bland, Karlee Bland and Caleb Bland of Rockwall, TX, Hannah Bland, Austin Green and Ella Green of Aubrey, TX; sisters, Deidre Hale and husband, Carl of Little Elm and Shelly Bland of Bonham, TX; nephew, Jeremy Talley of Haslet, TX and nieces, Kortney Williams and Kailey Hale of Little Elm.

Pallbearers will be Carl Hale, Justin Williams, Jeremy Talley, Russell Lucas, Holden E. Bland, Ronny Ryan and Peyton Whitehead.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until service time, Wednesday.
