Ronald "Ronny" Lynn Ford

Funeral services for Ronald Lynn "Ronny" Ford, 75, of Sherman, formerly of Bonham, will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 4, 2022 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel.  Bro Mark Posey will officiate.  Burial will follow in Arledge Ridge Cemetery.  Ronny passed away Thursday afternoon, Feb. 24, 2022 at Stone Brook Assisted Living in Denison.

Ronny was born August 12, 1946 in Bonham, Texas, the son of J. L. "Jelly" Ford and Margaret Ray Owen Ford.  He was a 1964 graduate of Bonham High School.  He served as a Boy Scout leader and was a faithful supporter of Warrior football and Little League Baseball.  Ronny was the owner and operator of the Ford Construction Company for a number of years and worked as the Director of Utilities for the City of Bonham.  He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening, hunting, camping, swimming, skiing and playing golf.   Ronny was a Methodist by faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jan Ford.

Ronny leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Ginger McAnally Ford of Sherman, two sons, Ross Ford of Pottsboro, TX and Todd Ford and wife, Kim of Bonham, TX; daughter, Casie Lovelace and husband, Zach of Pottsboro, TX; sister, Gloria White and husband, Ron of Bonham, TX; grandchildren, Dustin, Bailey, Layton, Chase, Chrysanna, Cayleigh, Knox and Baker; three great grandchildren, Lake, Harper and Dyson; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Austin Leatherwood, Ayden Leatherwood, Koen Parks, Jeff Arie, Scott Dewoody, Lance Capehart, and Brynlee Owens.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Lawrence and Roy Floyd.

Memorials may be made to the Fannin County Critters, the Fannin County Children's Center, or the Fannin County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday night, March 3, 2022.
