Roland Dewitt Earl

Funeral services for Roland Dewitt Earl, 63, of Ector, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 at Central Baptist Church in Bonham, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Brandon Dona will officiate. Burial will follow in Owens Chapel Cemetery. Roland passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at his residence.

Roland was born Dec. 12, 1950 in Wills Point, Texas, son of Rev. Paul Dewitt Seale and Beatrice Earl Seale. He attended North Fannin and Sam Rayburn High School. Roland married Junie Norris on June 6, 1969 at Central Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for Crittenden Propane for 9 years and McCraw Oil for 6 years before his retirement. Roland was a member of Central Baptist Church in Bonham, and enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Roland is survived by wife, Junie Earl of Ector, Texas; two sons, Kenny Earl and wife, Amy and Roland Earl, Jr. and wife, Shawna, all of Ector, Texas; a
daughter, Rashel Williamson of Ector, Texas; sister, Jamie Darton and husband, James of Bonham, Texas; seven grandchildren, Justin Earl, B. J. Kennedy, Cody Kennedy, Hailey Earl, Josie Earl,Austin Earl and Maycee Earl; aunt, Mary Seale of Bonham, Texas; extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin Earl, B. J. Kennedy, Cody Kennedy, Larry Norris, Doyle Norris and Jimmy Norris.
