Funeral services for Roger Earl Rich, 75, of Bonham, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas at a later date. Roger passed away early Thursday morning, June 23, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Roger was born Oct. 18, 1940 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Earl Edward Rich and Anna Mae Martin Rich. Following graduation from high school, he attended college and received a Bachelor's degree in engineering. While attending college, he continued to work with computer systems for a credit union. He married Carolyn Kerley on Dec. 18, 1992. Roger was a member of the Red River Photo Club and enjoyed fishing on the Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jonathan Rich, a daughter, Angela Rich, a brother, Ralph Rich and a sister, Barbara Vermillion.
Roger is survived by his Wife, Carolyn Rich of Bonham, Texas; Brother, Charles Rich and wife, Inell of Dallas, Texas; Son, Phillip Rich and wife, Angie of Gunter, Texas; Daughter-in-law, Sarah Rich of Garland, Texas; Stepson, Steven L. Chaney of Portland, Oregon
Stepdaughter, Laura D. Chaney and spouse, Heather Buff of Nevada, Missouri; Grandchildren, Taylor Rich, Wesley Rich, Tristan Rich, Abigail Methvin and Kaitlyn Chaney; A number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
