Roger Keith Polly

Memorial services for Roger Keith Polly, 76, of Randolph, Texas will be held at 10:30 AM July 23, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Randolph, Texas.  Rev. David Brackett will officiate.  Roger passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX.

Roger was born July 21, 1945, in Fleming, Kentucky, the son of Nathaniel Polly and Juanita Watts Polly.  He attended Whitesburg, Kentucky schools and was a US Army veteran (1965-1967) Roger married Janice Lynn Farmer on Nov. 17, 1965, in Clintwood, Virginia. He was an assemblyman for Ford Motor Company for many years. Roger was a member of the First Baptist Church in Randolph and the Ashley Masonic Lodge in Bailey, TX.  He enjoyed deer hunting, golfing, playing horseshoes, traveling and camping.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Christopher Keith Polly (1998), two brothers, Dan Polly and Denver Polly, and a sister, Joann Bates.

Roger leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 56 years, Janice Polly of Randolph, TX; two sons, Brian Wesley Polly and wife, Tracy of Louisville, KY and Alvin Todd Polly of Randolph, TX; two brothers, Ben Polly and wife, Gaynell of South Carolina and Nathan Polly and wife, Willi of Mayking, KY; a sister, Vernita Sizemore and husband, Clayton of Onieda, KY; eight grandchildren, Julie, Cassandra, Zach, Lexi, Cory, Joey, Jeremy, and Jessica; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
