Robert (Bob) Moncelle

A Memorial Mass will be held for Bob Moncelle, age 80 of Bonham, TX at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Bonham, TX. Fr. Paolo Capra will be celebrant. Bob passed away on October 2, 2017. He was born August 6, 1937 in Peru, Illinois to Frank Moncelle and Marie Krewer Moncelle. He married Elizabeth Anne Bartel on June 10, 2006 in Bonham, Texas.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Moncelle & Marie Moncelle Grandon; first wife, Irene Burkardt Moncelle in 2002; sister, Marjorie Hundreiser.

Surviving are his wife of 11 years, Elizabeth Anne Moncelle; daughters, Andrea Weightman of Rockford, IL; Therese Moncelle of Rockford, IL; sons, Francis Moncelle of Winston-Salem, NC and Paul Moncelle of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Evan Weightman, Aidan Moncelle, Addison Moncelle, Adam Weightman and Erin Weightman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities Crisis Center, Rockford, IL or Fannin County Family Crisis Center or St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.

Bob's cremated remains will be interred at St. Joseph Cemetery in Spring Valley, IL.
