Funeral Services for Robert Lee "Boogie" Shilling, 68, of Sherman, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Mark Posey will officiate. Burial will follow in Arledge Ridge Cemetery. Boogie passed away early Friday, August 23, 2013 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ in Sherman.
Boogie was born August 5, 1945 in Sherman, Texas, the son of Leon Ernest Shilling and Mamie Irene McBride Shilling. He was a US Army veteran and a roofer. Boogie was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Melvin Leon Shilling.

Daughter, Shanna Rochelle Shilling-Garza and husband, Rolando of Dodd City, TX
Brother, Steve Shilling of Sherman, TX
Sister Ann Scally and husband, Wayne of Denison, TX
Grandchildren, Robert Lee Shilling, Kevin Lynn Shilling, Amber Nicole Livingston and
Maria Selena Garza
Caregiver, Shirley Shilling of Sherman, TX
Pallbearers: Robert Lee Shilling, Kevin Lynn Shilling, Tommy Wayne Malone, Vernon House, Kris Stone and Marvin Shilling.
