Richard Moore

Funeral services for Richard Moore, 92, of Greenville, formerly of Bonham, will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Allen Snider and Derrell Hall will officiate.  Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery.  Richard passed away early Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham.

Richard was born July 13, 1925 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Charlie Moore and Winnie Oma Mayfield Moore.  He was a US Airforce veteran of WWII.  Richard married Abbie Elizabeth Hall on June 1, 1952 in the Mulberry Community of Fannin County, Texas, and she preceded him in death July 27, 2011.  Richard worked as a sales manager for the Graybar Electric Company for a number of years before returning to Fannin County.  He was a farmer and rancher and the owner/operator of Woodard's Western Wear in Bonham for many years.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Max Moore.

He is survived by his son, Tom Moore of Hendrix, OK, daughter, Carol McCaslin (Kevin) of Celeste, TX, three grandsons, Joshua McCaslin, Caleb McCaslin(Angela) and Micah McCaslin (fiancé, Ashley Frazier), three great grandchildren, Avriana McCaslin, Cason McCaslin and Rhylee McCaslin and extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin Bankston, Caleb McCaslin, Joshua McCaslin, and Micah McCaslin.
