Richard Arlen Hewett

Funeral services for Mr. Richard Arlen Hewett, age 61, of Lannius, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Trent Taylor and Rev. Roy Burpo will officiate. Private family inurnment will follow at a later date. Richard passed away on August 13, 2016 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

Richard was born on October 8, 1954 in Honey Grove, Texas, the son of Robert Hewett and Leata Green. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Edward Hewett, and sister, Debbie Wood. He was in the automotive industry and was a mechanic and salesman. Some of his favorite hobbies were going to the dirt track races and drag strip races. He enjoyed spending quality time with his faithful dog "PeeWee" and went everywhere with him.

Former Spouse and friend: Patricia Hewett of Honey Grove, Texas
Brothers: Terry Hewett, Clifford True, and Tony Savage
Sisters: Rose Bariekman and Robbin Gardner
Grandchildren: Tyler Knight, Dylan Knight, Jaden Stevens, Jace Stevens, Kylie Hewett, Kelsey Hewett, and Preston Dickerson
Extended family and a host of friends
