Rhonda Nell Turner

Memorial services for Rhonda Nell Turner, 50, of Bonham, will be held at Ridgeview Church in Rockwall, Texas from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 20, 2016. Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 2:15 p.m. at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. Rhonda's son, Richard Slaughter will officiate the services. Rhonda passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

Rhonda was born Feb. 14, 1966 in Big Spring, Texas, the daughter of Ralph Eldon Proctor and Margie Leval Blevins Proctor. She attended high school in Nocona, Texas. Rhonda married Colin Wade "Nick" Turner on Oct. 22, 1997 in Dallas, Texas. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed crafting, painting ceramics, and sewing dresses. Rhonda loved her children and grandchildren who were the center of her universe, and also loved her siblings. She was a God fearing woman and a family nurturer – always there whenever there was a need – took care of all. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronald Eldon Proctor.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016.
