Renita Gail Nichols

Renita Gail Nichols entered into the presence of Christ on June 24, 2024 in the comfort of her own home.

She was born to Grady and Romaine Nichols on February 16, 1963 in Bonham, TX. Renita is lovingly known as Mom and Nana to everyone in town. She will be fondly remembered for her devotion to her family and friends. Renita was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. She loved reading the Bible and living out the scriptures by giving to others. In her spare time she would tend to her plants and take her beloved dog Bella Mae for walks. Of all the accomplishments in Renita's life, nothing compared to being a mom to her three girls, Kellesha, Cassie, and Ashley.

The family will hold a celebration of life service on July 13th and have asked you to reach out to them directly for the details of the service.

Renita is preceded in death by daughter, Cassie Kirk, her parents, nephew, Clayton Bright and former husband, Robert Sutton.

Those left to cherish her memory, daughters, Kellesha Lorance (Steven), Ashley Wright (Joshua), son in law, Matthew Kirk, siblings, Jerry Gossett (Cherri), Gary Nichols (Hope), Royce Nichols, Karen Frasier, grandchildren, Aislynn Monks, Adrian Monks, Shayna Sutton, Nautika Kirk, Rickey Kirk, Cambria Wright, Lillie Wright, Arielle Wright, Josiah Wright, Gemma Wright, Emory Wright, Paisley Wright, Chase Wright, great grandchildren, James Doyle, Kyzlen Jemison, Kemery Jemison, Kinzley Monks, former husband, David Carnley and her four legged companion, Bella Mae.
