Regeana Ann Tomlinson

On Friday, March 8th, with the love of her life by her side, Regeana Ann Tomlinson, age 75, went home to be with Jesus. Regeana was a loving wife, mother, nana, great-nana, sister, & friend. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Bonham on March 19, 2024 at 11am.

Regeana was born on March 29, 1948 in Bonham, Tx to Turner Jewell & Nina Pearl Johnson. She spent her childhood growing up with her brother, Turner Keith, on a farm behind the Bonham State Park. In 1963, on a school bus headed to a football game, she met the love of her life, Joe Denny Tomlinson and two years later on November 25, 1965 in Edhube they said "I do". Together they welcomed two baby girls, Letitia in 1969 & Rochelle in 1972. In 1990, Regeana gained the special name of Nana; a name she would truly embrace & treasure. She was blessed with 8 grandkids and 5 great grandkids. She spent her years being a caregiver both in her career as a home healthcare aid and child caregiver as well as at home raising her girls and helping raise her grandkids, great-grandkids, and anyone else who needed some extra love.

Regeana was preceded in death by her parents Turner Jewell Johnson & Nina Pearl Young Johnson, and her daughter Rochelle Marie Dodson.

Regeana is survived by her husband Joe Tomlinson of Bonham; daughter Letitia and husband Gary Naramor of Durant; brother Turner Keith and wife Mary Johnson of Flower-Mound; neice Aimee and husband James Breeden; Grandchildren Mara Hill, Chris Tomlinson, Matthew Naramor, Austin Naramor, Kenieth Dodson, Shelby Dodson, Jewell Dodson and Audrey Dodson; great-grandkids Jayli, Lyric, Christian, Finley, and Xavier; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
