Rebecca "Becky" Welch

Funeral services for Rebecca "Becky" Welch, 80, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Cody Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery. Becky passed away early Wednesday morning, Dec. 4, 2014 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Rebecca was born Sept. 27, 1933 in Franklin, Robertson County, Texas, the daughter of Frank D. Hall and Bonnie Dickey Hall. She graduated from high school in Herne, Texas. Becky married Fred Patrick Welch on April 5, 1952, and he preceded her in death Mar. 10, 2007. She was a member of Seventh & Main Baptist Church where she was a past nursery director. She was a sports fanatic and loved to play golf. Becky was a member of the Bonham Golf Club, the Coffee Club, and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Frank Welch, two brothers, Tilson Hall and William Hall, and two sisters, Virginia Casey and Myrtle Bowman.
Becky is survived by her son, Fred P. Welch, Jr. and wife, Brenda of Leonard, Texas, two daughters, Karen McCommas and husband, Don, and Donna Woodworth, all of Bonham, Texas,
three grandchildren, Samantha Woodworth, Michael McCommas and wife, Melissa, and Beverly Bell, five great Grandchildren, Rachel Rowe, Khylee McCommas, Emily Jones, Dillon Jones and Shelby Jones, a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
