Rachel M Ramer

Funeral Services for Rachel Michele Ramer will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Boyd Baptist Church, 3707 TX-78, Bonham, with Rev. Mike Allred officiating. Interment will follow at Carson Cemetery in Ector.  Rachel was born on March 1, 1989 in Dallas.  She went home to spend the rest of her life in heaven with her Lord and Savior on December 10, 2018.

Rachel grew up learning about God's love and gave her life to Christ as a teenager. Rachel graduated third in her class from Leonard High School in 2007. Rachel married the love of her life Luke Justin Ramer on May 1, 2009. She graduated with a teaching degree from A&M Commerce and began teaching at Scott Middle School in Denison where her students fell in love with her as she made an impact on their lives forever. Rachel was passionate about teaching, hunting and spending time with friends and family.  Rachel had a smile that was infectious and a personality that matched!  Her life and testimony through all of life's trials impacted many around the world.  Her heart's desire and main goal in life was to honor and glorify Christ and... Rachel did just that!

Rachel was preceded in death by Papa Bob Darling, Papa James Hutchins and Mamaw JoAn Hutchins.

Left here on earth to carry on Rachel's legacy and our Heavenly Father's plan for each of our lives are... husband Luke Justin Ramer of Ivanhoe Texas, father and mother Charles and Jamie Darling of Leonard Texas, sisters Crystal Schwankl of Princeton, TX and Angela Stroup of Princeton, TX, grandma Joan Kyle of Mathis Texas, many many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, including Theresa and Tommy McCarter and Lanette and Don Rhoads, cousins, Denison ISD staff and students, lifelong friends and fellow followers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Pallbearers will be Luke Ramer, Phillip Ramer, Andy Ramer, Ken Schwankl, Brandon Stroup, Tom McCarter and James Walker.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Wise Funeral Home, and again from 12 noon until service time on Thursday at Boyd Baptist Church.
