Peggy Catherine Maag, a fierce and loyal soul who graced this world with her presence, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, in Pecan Gap, Texas. Born on July 11, 1947, in Akron, Ohio, to Robert and Gloria Good.

Peggy's early years in Akron were filled with the simple pleasures of life, where she cultivated a love for the outdoors and the beauty of nature. As she grew, so did her aspirations, leading her to a diverse career path. She began her professional journey as a phone operator, a role in which her warm voice and genuine care for others shone brightly. Her dedication and hard work led her to the real estate sector, where she found joy in helping families find their dream homes. She then started working in the car dealership industry where she met her husband as a title clerk. 

Outside of her professional life, Peggy's interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. She was an avid gardener, her hands often found in the soil, nurturing life in her backyard oasis. Her gardens were a riot of color, but it was clear to all that blue held a special place in her heart, as it was the hue that appeared most frequently in her plantings and decor. Peggy also had a passion for puzzles, finding joy in the challenge they presented, and the satisfaction of placing the final piece. Her patience and attention to detail in her puzzle-solving were a metaphor for how she approached life's complexities.

A grandmother with a twinkle in her eye, Peggy had a special bond with her grandchildren, imparting wisdom and a love. Her laughter was a soundtrack to countless family gatherings, and her humorous stories will be retold for generations to come.

Peggy's love for watching birds was more than a pastime; it was a reflection of her own free spirit and appreciation for the world's natural rhythms. Friends and family will fondly remember her seated by the window, a cup of coffee in hand, observing the hummingbirds and sparrows as they visited her garden.

To say Peggy was spirited is an understatement; she was a force of nature. Her humor brought light to the darkest of days, and her presence was a source of comfort and joy. She leaves behind her husband, Bernie Maag, daughters, Shelly Moad and husband Ken, Sheila Boisselle and husband Donovan, grandchildren, Michael Howe, Katherine Howe, Aliya Boiselle, Marlee Boisselle, Jordan Gunn, Ryan Gunn, and many nieces and nephews.
